7 Tips on How to be a Better player in Rise of Civilization

The new Android game Rise of Civilization is breaking the players mind with full strategy action gameplay.

As an old Travian player, I personally LOVE this game the first time I play it. The game provides a lot of improvement when compared to old game Travian. There is a lot to discover and learn in this game.

As I play this game, I encounter many players who did not know what to do and what to upgrade. So Im here to guide you with my 7 Tips on How to become a better player in Rise of Civilization.

1. Join big Alliance. Then teleport to them

The key of playing this game is to become a part of an alliance. Power of 50 will always win over 1 player. So put aside your ego and trying to be Kirito who solo in everything he do. Search for an alliance and join any of them. search for high numbers of members in the alliance. More people more power!

Then after you join the alliance, use the teleport item to teleport your village near their territory or leader. That way you can ensure to join any action or rally that they are doing.

2. Use the speedup item in early game

There is a lot of speed up items received during the game. Wether its from quest or killing barbarians, use these items as soon as possible. when all the buildings is new, it require small amount of time for it to be completed. Thus use it to finish it immediately. As the game goes by, upgrades take a lot of time and couple of minutes dont give a satisfying results.

You can speed up your growth too, and be reconized by other player.

3. Choose the role of the commander. (defender, attacker, resources gatherer)

Every commander have their own speciality and perks. Read their skills carefully and decide which route should he/she become. When you decided which type of route should he go, choose the most suitable talent for him.

For example Sarka, She specialize in Gahering perks. Her skills provide bonus when sending her to go gathering. Thus you can choose talents that will boost even more when she go to a gathering mission.

4. Troop upgrade > new higher troop

In time you will upgrade your village to a new era. New era will give you more powerful troops. You can upgrade them and change them from Tier to Tier (with cost).

So its up to you to make a new unit or upgrade it. Some people prefer to train a new 1 and send the lower tier for gathering. But i prefer to upgrade them all.

5. Team up with friends to kill higher lvl barbarian for bigger loots and exp

A new feature this game offer to Rally. This feature will enhance the teamwork by combining the attacking force into 1. With this you can take down anyone that interfere with your planning.

Combine power and defeat higher level barbarian will give you more rewards. You can also team up with alliance member to attack your enemies.

6. Troop capacity for a commander, thus have more than 1 commander will help

Things to bear in mind that a commander have a troop capacity which until how many can he hold. So lvling up 2 or more commander will surely help.

There is also talent to boost up troop capacity if you want to go to that extend. 

7. use scout, train troops, research non stop.

And finally some general tips is to constantly train your troops, research and send out scouts for constant rewards when found a tribe a mysterious cave.

8. The ability to Intercept a marching troops

Player can intercept a marching troops toward a direction. With this you can reduce the damage done to the village, and defend it with you troops alone. I dont know if this is a good feature or not, but for sure it opens a whole new gameplay for a strategy plays.
